Area Sales Manager Ireland (m/w/d)


Our client is a privately owned medium-sized company with a long-term planning horizon. With more than 3,000 employees at various locations around the world and divided into several independent business units, they are an international partner to the printing and packaging industry and an absolute industry pioneer in the field of sustainability.


  • Full responsibility for all technical and commercial Sales activities in Ireland
  • Developing and implementing Sales and Marketing strategies in the region, in close collaboration with the Cluster Director
  • Creating local budget and monitor monthly performance against budget, comment on deviations and initiating actions in order to achieve jointly defined budget targets
  • Active contribution when it comes to improving existing Sales processes with the aim of serving customers in the best way at the lowest possible cost
  • Playing an active and vital role in customer negotiations in order to build a close relationship with the customers base and expand the network in the relevant markets
  • Support of print tests at customers and assure that customer requirements are translated into the own organization with the aim of delivering the best product for the needs of the customer


  • Business management training or studies, with high and demonstrable technical affinity or a technical education as a basis for a Sales career
  • At least 6 years of experience in a Sales Manager role in sales of chemical products for the printing and packaging industry or alternatively the print and packaging industry directly
  • Strategic thinking for the development of markets and products
  • Convincing service-oriented Communicator
  • Entrepreneurial attitude as well as a distinctive cost/benefit behavior
  • High willingness to travel in the Sales region
