1. General information about visiting our website
You can visit our website without providing any personal information. Every time you access our website, usage data is transmitted by the respective internet browser and stored in log files, the so-called server log files, such as the date and time of access, the name of the page accessed, the amount of data transferred and the requesting provider. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person and is used solely to ensure the smooth operation of our website and to improve our services.
2. Collection and processing of personal data
Personal data is only collected if you provide it to us voluntarily when you submit an application using our application form or when you contact us using our contact form.
Collection and processing when using the application form
We use the data you enter in the application form, such as your name, e-mail address, telephone number and CV, for the purpose of contacting you individually. This data is processed only by the management/consultants and the assistant area. Your data will not be passed on to third parties. If you are shortlisted, we will inform you in writing or by telephone and send you a separate and detailed data protection declaration regarding the storage of your personal data in our system. If you are not shortlisted, we will inform you and delete your data immediately, provided that there is no legal obligation to retain it.
Collection and processing when using the contact form
We use the data you enter in the contact form, such as your name, company, e-mail address and telephone number, for the purpose of communicating with you individually. This data is used exclusively to answer your request or to contact you and for the associated technical administration. Your data will be deleted after your request has been processed, provided that you wish this and that there are no legal obligations to retain the data. If you are shortlisted as a candidate, we will inform you in writing or by telephone and send you a separate and detailed data protection declaration for the storage of your personal data in our system.
3. Information and deletion of your data
You have the right to request information about your personal data at any time and free of charge (Art. 15 GDPR), as well as to have your data stored by us corrected, blocked or deleted (Art. 16 and 17 GDPR). In this case, please contact us in person, e.g. by fax, telephone, post or e-mail.
4. Information and complaints
If you have any questions, comments, complaints or requests for information in connection with our data protection declaration and the processing of your personal data, you can contact us in writing or the responsible supervisory authority.
5. Who has access to your data
The data collected is only accessible to the service provider, whereby access is only possible for an authorized group of employees and only to the data necessary to fulfill the respective task.
5.1 If the initial contact is made by our research staff, only these employees will initially have access to your personal data. Telephone numbers, email addresses and any CVs that may be available will only be used to match the vacancy and to make contact.
5.1.1 If your profile is not suitable for the advertised vacancy, you will be informed of this and your personal data will be deleted immediately, or you will be sent a data release so that you can be stored for future projects and contacted again.
5.1.2 If your profile is suitable for the advertised position and you would like to continue the application process, we will send you a data release and store your personal data in our system after you have given your consent. In the next steps, the management level/consultants and assistants will have access to your data to continue the process.
5.1.3 If the management/consultant would like to introduce you to our client, you will be informed in advance. The assistance area will create a presentation for the client based on your personal data.
5.2. If the initial contact is made by sending your personal data via Stepstone or directly to the responsible consultant, only the consultant and the assistance department will have access to your personal data. Telephone numbers, email addresses and any CVs will only be used to match the vacancy and to make contact.

5.4 If you have given us permission to use your data to contact you about future projects, it will be stored in our system with the respective industry and specialty. The research and assistance department, as well as the management level/consultants, will have access to your profile in order to compare it with new vacancies and to contact you again.
No links are created with third-party databases in order to carry out profiling. Your personal data will not be sold to any external company. Likewise, your data will not be passed on unless we have shortlisted you as a candidate and informed you of this, and you have given us your express permission to pass on your data.
6. When may your data be passed on
If you have been shortlisted by us and informed of this, and have given your express consent to the transfer of your data to us via a separate form.
If instructed to do so by a competent authority, the service provider, i.e. us, must provide information about this data in individual cases, insofar as this is necessary for the purposes of criminal prosecution, averting danger, fulfilling the legal duties of the authorities or enforcing intellectual property rights.
7. Cookies
In order to make visiting our website more attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use so-called cookies on various pages. These are small text files that are stored on your device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted after the end of the browser session, i.e. after you close your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your device and enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit (persistent cookies).
